How to use vinyl record mockup:
- Obtain a mockup file: You can find these online (some are free, others are paid). The file will usually be a PSD (Photoshop) file.
- Open the file in Photoshop: Ensure you have Photoshop installed on your computer.
- Locate the Smart Object layers: These are the layers where you'll place your designs. They are usually labeled clearly (e.g., "Album Cover," "Record Label").
- Edit the Smart Objects: Double-click on the Smart Object layer you want to edit. This will open a new window with the template for that part of the mockup.
- Place your design: Copy and paste your artwork into the Smart Object window. Resize and position it as needed.
- Save the Smart Object: Once you're happy with the placement, save the Smart Object file.
- Return to the main mockup: The main mockup file will now be updated with your design.
- Customize further (optional): Many mockups allow you to change colors, add textures, or adjust other elements. Experiment to achieve your desired look.
- Save your final image: Once you're satisfied, save the final image in your preferred format (e.g., JPG, PNG).
