Dakota Johnson, Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan, Oscar nominee Jessie Buckley, and Josh O'Connor will star in the film Three Incestuous Sisters, an adaptation of the novel written by Audrey Niffenegger.
Oscar-nominated Italian director Alice Rohrwacher will direct the movie. The screenplay, written by Alice Rohrwacher and Ottessa Moshfegh, is reportedly set to begin filming this coming April.
The story centers on a rivalry between sisters that unfolds after one of them becomes mad with jealousy over the other’s romance.
It is rumored that the film may be the director’s long-developed silent project, incorporating the illustrated material from the book.
